Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Plot located in the terroirs of Mercurey (71).
Manual harvest and sorting, aged in oak barrels for 15 months.
Cherry red colour with ruby red reflections. The nose evokes notes of raspberry, blackcurrant, liquorice, black cherry. The palate is rich with crunchy tannins. The fresh and saline finish is accompanied by aromas of tobacco and cocoa.
Food and wine pairings:
Rich and full, it will pair beautifully with rich cuts such as rib-eye steaks, more delicate meats such as lamb or poultry, braised or in sauce, but also roast pork it because of its rich aroma. Exotic dishes will also honour this wine . On the cheese board, it works just as well with soft cheeses as with mature cheeses.
