Plot located on Mellecey (71).
Know-how:
Harvest and manual sorting, maturing in oak barrels for 10 months.
Tasting:
Cherry red color, with ruby red reflections. The nose evokes notes of raspberry, blackcurrant, liquorice, with notes of violet. The mouth is luscious with crisp tannins. The fresh and saline finish is accompanied by aromas of liquorice and pepper.
Food and wine pairings:
Its fruity frankness, its aromas call for fine cured meats, white meats with spicy juice, roasted poultry, grilled red meats, mushroom omelette, beef stew and fresh pasta, veal kidneys. Mont d’Or, Saint-Nectaire, Reblochon and Epoisses cheeses will also go well with this wine.
Serving temperature: between 15 C° and 18 C°.
